Expert Marketing for Residential Contractors

Building the business takes tools you won’t find in the truck.

That’s where we come in.

We combine AI-powered marketing funnels with a real sales team that follows through, inside one system built to move opportunities toward signed contracts.

The real problem

Marketing agencies hide behind fancy acronyms and confusing analytics. We measure our success by one metric: revenue.

Clicks and leads show activity. Blujay works backward from revenue and stays accountable for what happens after the form is filled out.

The revenue pipeline

One pipeline. Two definitions of success.

  1. 01Impressions
  2. 02Clicks
  3. 03LeadsMost agency reporting stops here
  4. 04Qualified conversations
  5. 05Site visits
  6. 06Proposals
  7. 07RevenueBlujay measures to here
Typical agency reporting stops at leads. Blujay follows the same pipeline through qualified conversations, site visits, proposals, and revenue.

It all starts with the foundation.

Sustainable growth doesn’t come from cutting corners. It often requires rebuilding the sales cycle from the ground up.

The work in practice

The work has to end in revenue.

A Parker, CO general contracting company needed two new service lines to become complete growth systems. The work crossed positioning, creative, landing pages, qualification, CRM routing, sales support, and revenue reporting.

Straight answers

What to know before we build.

Is Blujay a marketing agency?+

Blujay is the hands-on marketing partner for ambitious residential contractors pursuing higher-value work. Instead of optimizing one channel in isolation, Blujay creates qualified demand, manages the front half of the sales cycle, and builds the systems that move opportunities toward signed contracts.

What does Blujay handle, and what does the contractor handle?+

Blujay owns positioning, websites, advertising, creative, lead response and screening, CRM, nurture, sales coordination, and measurement. The contractor brings the construction judgment: showing up for site visits, scoping the work, producing estimates and proposals, signing contracts, staffing projects, and delivering excellent work.

Does my company need to be a certain size?+

No. Blujay can work with a new two-person company or an established team. Fit depends more on ambition, craftsmanship, responsiveness, risk tolerance, and the willingness to build through the constraints that growth exposes.

How involved will I need to be?+

Growth is not hands-off at the beginning. The first year is a sustained build, and the contractor still needs to visit properties, scope work, produce timely proposals, hire well, and deliver. The goal is to turn that effort into a documented, staffed system the owner can eventually oversee instead of personally carrying.

What does it cost?+

Focused builds start around $3,500. Ongoing partnerships typically combine a base fee with a commission on Blujay-attributed revenue. The exact fee, commission, and attribution terms depend on the work and will be clear in writing before we begin.

Do I have to replace everything I already have?+

No. Good infrastructure stays. The first job is to understand what is working, what is missing, and what is getting in the way. Blujay repairs and connects useful parts before recommending a rebuild.

Can I hire Blujay for one project?+

Yes. Many relationships should begin with a specific need such as a website, campaign, or CRM cleanup. The difference is that even a focused project is designed with the rest of the growth system in view.

Why focus on contractors?+

Contracting businesses have a distinct path from lead to revenue: local demand, trust-heavy decisions, phone and form intake, qualification, site visits, estimates, and long follow-up. Knowing that path makes the work faster, sharper, and more accountable.

Have you ever wondered what makes a blue jay… blue?

All people see is the blue, not the structure that creates it.

Blue jay feathers contain no blue pigment. Microscopic structures bend light into the blue we see. Blujay works the same way: strategy, creative, sales, and measurement resolve into better projects, stronger margins, and a business that depends less on the owner. Customers see the result. We build the structure beneath it.

Ways to work together

Solve what is urgent. Build what lasts.

Start with one defined constraint or build the complete growth system over time.

If you landed three to five times the work, could the business carry it?

A growth partner should do more than create demand. We help build the demand, and the systems required to sustain it.

What feels most urgent?
